Divorce Network, A
Women's Resource, is designed to decrease legal expenses while
increasing your knowledge of the divorce process and how it will affect
you - today and years down the road.
Since 1996 we have
offered information, education, pre-planning advice and guidance through
the divorce process in Washington State. Our services include private
one-on-one consultations, individual coaching and information about and
access to outside resources covering a wide scope of related topics for
anyone contemplating divorce and wishing to be well informed prior to
making any legal, financial or personal decisions connected to divorce.
We cover a full
spectrum of issues which must be addressed when going through
dissolution, with or without children, including but not limited to
Parenting Plans, Child Support, Spousal Maintenance and Property
Settlement Agreements. We clear up confusion about no fault divorce and
community property issues. You will learn about the pros and cons of
working with attorneys, mediators, arbitrators, the court system and
various financial advisors.
We talk about what
it’s like to go through a divorce from start to finish and by doing so
take the mystery out of the process. We discuss options, strategies and
negotiation tactics so that you completely understand what to expect in
preparation for this months-long procedure. We talk about your rights
and your obligations and responsibilities and those of your spouse.
If you’ve not been
through a divorce before – or even if you have – you deserve to educate
and prepare yourself so that nothing is left to chance. Divorce impacts
everything in your life on one level or another. Shouldn’t you do what’s
best for yourself and your children?
